The Maharashtra Pollution Control Board (MPCB) has rapped spices manufacturing company, Everest Spices, for its shoddy efforts at controlling emissions of dust and spices from its Vikhroli factory.

An inspection by the MPCB revealed that machines in the factory were leaving residue and the air ducts were in bad shape. Residents living behind the factory compound have been complaining of respiratory ailments.
