The police are finding it difficult to get leads in the murder case of 85-year-old widow, Tabitha Francis Fonseca, because she never interacted with anybody in the locality.

Fonseca was found strangled in the ground floor room of her two storied-building located in Hindu Colony at Dadar (West) on Friday.
Police suspect robbery as the motive because prima facie they have found two gold bangles and a gold ring missing.
The police will record Fonseca's daughter, Ruth D'Souza's statement to ascertain the amount of the stolen valuables. Suresh Parab, senior police inspector said, "We are trying to find out if someone from a courier company or a salesman had come to her residence." The police said Fonseca would close all the doors of the building at the end of each day.
They are awaiting a post mortem report to ascertain cause of death.
