American singer-rapper-DJ Redfoo, who performed in Delhi on Sunday (May 11), had a blast treating the audience to hits like Sexy and I know it and Sorry for party rocking at the gig.
The 38-year old musician, who is part of the duo LMFAO, says, "India has been on my mind since I was a kid. I heard about from people it at school… good things such as yoga and the food I love, which includes the curries, spices and chicken. I love the tandoori thing. I go to Indian joints in Los Angeles too."
Redfoo, who says he’s a fan of Salman Khan and Deepika Padukone, wants act in a Bollywood film. As for Indian music, he reveals that he is a fan of late sitar maestro, Pandit Ravi Shankar, saying, "He was a legend. I bought all his CDs. His music influenced me a lot."
The musician refuses to confirm any plans of marrying his girlfriend, tennis player Victoria Azarenka, but he admits to losing to her when they play the sport together. "I’ve played with her a few times but she kicked my butt," he laughs.
Due to his tight schedule, Redfoo hasn’t been able to see much of India. "I had no time to go sightseeing or visit the Taj Mahal, but I’d love to do that, visit clubs, malls and meet more people," he says.
