They love to perform in India for their home crowd, but performing abroad is something that Delhi based act BLOT are always excited about. The electronic duo will soon head to England to perform at two popular music festivals in the UK — The Alchemy Festival and The Great Escape Festival.
We got in touch with Avinash Kumar, one half of the group who couldn’t hide his excitement about heading to the UK.
“It’s really exciting to play a few gigs in the UK soon! It has been a while since we performed there and it’s good to know we have a few shows this time around since the music audiences in the UK are really passionate and into their scene. The fact that it’s festival season only makes it better and we love the UK summer experience anyway!” he quips.

Having been in the industry for almost a decade, BLOT is considered to be one of the best audio visual acts in the country. Avinash adds that he is excited about their future journey which has just started.
“It has been a while now and hundreds of performances along the way, so sometimes it is hard to see how things change since we have been pretty busy through the entire decade. I think the big change has obviously been the explosive growth of the electronic music scene in India which has really impacted the dynamic of how and where audiences experience our performances. It’s always been fascinating to see how people of all ages relate to music and visuals being presented together,” he adds.
