Pop artist Jessica Simpson has been invited by US First Lady Michelle Obama to sing for military families in Colorado. The singer says she’s thrilled to have been given the opportunity.
“(The First Lady) asked me to sing for the troops. That’s a huge honour for me. Just to be there and show my support and say thank you,” usmagazine.com quoted Simpson as saying. Simpson’s performance is a part of an initiative by Michelle Obama to honour US’ service members.
