Pop artiste Mika Singh may have been confident that the raunchy video he’d shot for Suneil Shetty’s film, Loot, would be passed without any cuts. But his Sari Duniya Mere Iss Pe… has got the thumbs down from censors for objectionable lyrics like Chota Rajan Apna Bhai Hai, Daud Se Apni Kamai Hai… and PM Se Apna Pyar Hai, CM Apna Yaar Hai, Gath Bandhan Sarkar Hai...

Confirming the news, actor Suniel says, "It was only a promotional song and was never meant to be in the film, but I guess the lyrics lead to it being banned." A fuming Mika insists the censor board is influenced by the stature of an artiste.

"They had no problems with a DK Bose… that wasn’t even an integral part of the script while my song is about a bluff master, who fakes contacts with politicians and dons, and is appropriate to Loot. It’s already got over three lakh hits on YouTube," he rants.

Directed by Rajnish Thakur, Loot marks the acting debut of Mika and revolves around four unskilled crooks who are out to steal some jewels in Bangkok. The film also features actor Govinda, Javed Jafferi and Mahakshay Chakraborty.
