Not like dad: Michael Jackson’s son Prince can’t sing or dance

Prince Jackson says unlike his famous dad, the late Michael Jackson, he has no interest in either singing or dancing. Instead, it is production that interests him, he told in an interview to Los Angeles Times.

Prince, the son of the late King of Pop Michael Jackson says he can neither sing nor dance. The 19-year-old has no desire to follow in his late legendary father’s footsteps and carve out a career on stage because he’d rather be involved in the production side, reports femalefirst.com.

“Everyone thinks I’m going to do music and dance. Music is a big part of my life. It shaped who I am because of my family, but I’ve always wanted to go into production. My dad would ask me what I wanted to do and my answer was always producing and directing,” Prince told the Los Angeles Times.

When asked on what advice his father gave him prior to his death that has stuck with him, he said: “Trust no one. It sounds bad, but a lot of people are motivated by themselves. He said don’t trust someone just because it sounds like a good idea -- do your research. There are a lot of people who want to interact with me and my siblings just because of who we are.”
