Patola singer Diljit Dosanjh disappoints with This Singh's So Stylish

For all those who tripped on Diljit Dosanjh's runaway hit, Proper Patola, may find his latest, This Singh's so Stylish, a little underwhelming. It's stylish enough but lacks the substance.

Diljit Dosanjh's new song is so stylish but what about substance?



For all those who tripped on his Proper Patola some while back may find Punjabi singer Dosanjh's latest, This Singh's so Stylish, a little underwhelming.



His new song, featuring Ikka, begins with a rollcall for what makes a Singh stylish. "Kada? Check. Turban? Check. Rolex? Check. Dolce Gabbana? Check," he asks.

The video presented by Panasonic Mobile MTV Spoken Word then goes on to tell how to make it big. While music is catchy enough, it has none of the verve or tempo which made his earlier works such successes.



But we will give it that -- it is stylish enough.



Diljit recently tasted unprecedented success in Punjabi cinema with his film, Punjab 1984. He has sung playback for Bollywood films like Yamla Pagla Deewana 2, Son of Sardar and Mere Dad Ki Maruti. He has also acted and sung for Punjabi films The Lion of Punjab and Jatt & Juliet.
