Pakistani singer Rahat Fateh Ali Khan was in Mumbai recently to sing for the film,

Satrangee Parachute
. The song is a
lullaby
sung in a male’s voice. Smiles Khan, “May be I have a sweet voice and that’s why I was asked to sing it.”

Says producer Vineet Khetrapal, “I asked Rahatji if we could get two children from
Chote Ustaad
to sing one of the songs with him. He picked Mair from Pakistan and Mayuri from India.”
The song was recorded at Nysa Studios, Andheri, in fourts hours, from 11 pm to 3 am. Adds Khetrapal, “Rahatji was in tears after listening to the lyrics. We didn’t expect the song to be so sentimental.”
