India’s first-ever Global Indian Music Awards, which took place Wednesday in Mumbai, saw a host of stars in attendance.

While Oscar winner AR Rahman was present as a guest, actors Kareena Kapoor and Salman Khan danced to hit numbers from their Bollywood films. Actor Saif Ali Khan performed with musician Pritam.
The event, organised by Wizcraft International Entertainment, was hosted by comedian Sajid Khan and actors Shreyas Talpade and Dia Mirza.
The award for best background score went to music directors Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy for

Singers Shaan and Shantanu Moitra shared the award for best playback singer (male) for
