TIRUPATI/NEW DELHI: Devotees who need to perform ‘angapradakshinam’ (rolling on the floor of the temple) at the hill shrine of Lord Venkateswara have to produce Aadhaar cards as identity proof from Wednesday. The cards will prevent devotees from performing the ritual repeatedly, said Talari Ravi, the shrines’ public relations officer. Also, the civil aviation ministry on Tuesday said it is not possible to declare a ‘no fly zone’ over the Tirumala hills in Andhra Pradesh as it would further reduce the accessibility to Tirupati airport.
