Congress to launch UP campaign with a 3-day bus yatra

NEW DELHI: The Congress will formally launch its campaign for the next year’s assembly elections in UP on July 23 with a three-day ‘bus yatra’ from Delhi to Kanpur.

NEW DELHI: The Congress will formally launch its campaign for the next year’s assembly elections in UP on July 23 with a three-day ‘bus yatra’ from Delhi to Kanpur. Titled ‘27 Saal UP Behaal’, it will be flagged off by Congress chief Sonia Gandhi and vice-president Rahul Gandhi from the party’s headquarters at 24, Akbar Road, here. It will cover 600km with four districts each day. Senior leaders Ghulam Nabi Azad, Sheila Dikshit, Raj Babbar and Pramod Tiwari will address the yatra.
