LUCKNOW: Uttar Pradesh BJP chief Keshav Prasad Maurya appointed Swati Singh, wife of expelled party leader Dayashankar Singh, as state chief of BJP women’s wing on Friday. Dayashankar was in the limelight in July for comparing BSP chief Mayawati to a “prostitute”, triggering widespread condemnation and his expulsion from the BJP.
