RAIPUR: A jawan was killed and two others injured in a bomb blast by Maoists in the insurgency-hit Narayanpur district of Chhattisgarh on Wednesday. The incident took place around 8am when a road opening party of the District Reserve Group (DRG) was crossing the Karel Valley in Narayanpur police station area. “Assistant constable Puran Potai was killed in the blast while two others sustained minor injuries,” a senior police officer said.
