CHENNAI: The Madras high court on Monday refused to stay the suspension of DMK MLAs but issued a notice to the Tamil Nadu assembly speaker and secretary on a petition filed by DMK leader MK Stalin challenging the suspension of his party MLAs. Stalin had pleaded for quashing the order, pending his appeal against the suspension which he described as illegal and unconstitutional.
