PUDUCHERRY: President Pranab Mukherjee has given his approval to HRD ministry’s recommendation to sack Pondicherry University vice-chancellor Chandra Krishnamurthy, facing allegations of plagiarism and misrepresentation. According to a senior ministry official, an order in this regard would be issued soon. Krishnamurthy-took charge on February 1, 2013, for a five-year term.
