NEW DELHI: Soldiers in Indian army, navy and air force will start getting enhanced salary from this month. Chairman of the Chiefs of Staff Committee (CoSC) Air Chief Marshal Arup Raha directed all service headquarters on Friday to implement the 7th Pay Commission. The development also indicates that the government has resolved the “anomalies” pointed out by the air and the navy chiefs during their meeting with defence minister Manohar Parikkar.
