GORAKHPUR: The BJP Alpsankhyak Morcha (minority wing) wants firebrand Gorakhpur MP Yogi Adityanath to be the party’s chief ministerial candidate for the 2017 Uttar Pradesh assembly polls. Celebrating Adityanath’s 44th birthday on Sunday, the morcha members cut cakes and released a poster portraying the MP as an incarnation of Lord Ram and rival parties collectively as the demon king Ravana. The caption under the picture reads: “UP ke Ram, Sankalp 2017 mein karenge Ravan ko parajit (Lord Ram of UP will defeat Ravan in Mission 2017).”
