There were several activities such as yoga, zumba, street sports and street art for engaging people while food stalls kept the foodies busy. The third edition of Sunset Raahgiri saw activities by students as well as the Noida authority team. Dance and song performances were also seen on the main stage near the multilevel parking.

“The Noida authority team is doing a good job of engaging people week after week. We are getting requests from several residential areas and RWAs to shift Raahgiri and we will be moving to a new location soon,” Rajeev Tyagi, general manager, Noida authority, said.

This Sunset Raahgiri, zumba was held on the main stage and fun games were organised by the evening’s anchor Ajay Shehrawat. People danced to foot-tapping tunes played by the DJ. There was also Bhangra to pep up the audience. Students of Amity University enacted a skit to create awareness about drug abuse. Children were seen painting scenic pictures while others engaged in sports activities.

Raahgiri is a street event that aims to help people reclaim streets and turn them into safe public spaces.

Tyagi also said the event aims at discouraging car use and promoting the use of streets and public spaces by residents and non-motorised or public transport for an integrated living.
