Heavy vehicles coming from Badarpur border via Kalindi Kunj will be diverted to the Noida-Greater Noida Expressway for onward journey towards Bulandshahar orMuradabad. They will travel via Greater Noida, Kasna, Shayamnagar Mandi and Sikandarabad, bypassing the National Highway (NH) 24 near Ghaziabad, to reach their destination.

Similarly, vehicles entering Noida via the DND Flyway will also be diverted to the Noida-Greater Noida Expressway as soon as they are past the flyway, for their journey to Bulandshahar or Muradabad. They too will follow the longer route Greater Noida-Sikandarabad route to reach their destination.

The vehicles entering Noida through the Delhi-Chilla border (near Mayur Kunj) will also take the expressway to get to Bulandshahar or Muradabad.

In addition, the road through Okhla bird sanctuary starting from the Chilla border to Kalindi Kunj bridge will be out of bounds to all types of vehicles as the kanwarias will be on foot on the road. These diversions will continue till the end of the kanwaria movement at 10 pm on August 12.

“These arrangements will ensure safe movement of Kanwarias and also avoid congestion on city roads. The prohibition on the movement of heavy vehicles during morning and evening peak hours will continue,” he said.
