Sweden's Daniel Chopra seized the lead as he bids to capture a second Iskandar Johor Open on a course he calls his "second home".
Chopra, 37, moved five strokes clear of the field in adding a six-under par 65 in the second round just hours after ending the first round with a 64 for a 13-under par tally on the rain-softened Horizon Hills course.
However, a further thunderstorm delay has raised the strong possibility of the $2 million event being reduced to 54 holes.
Strong field for DGC Ladies Open
Vani Kapoor, Gurbani Singh and Mehar Atwal will be among the top amateurs who will tee up for the Usha Delhi Golf Ladies Golf championships at the Delhi Golf Club from November 22-24.
The event will be a 54-hole affair. Vani, winner of the Northern India Ladies, by virtue of which she leads the Order of Merit, will be among the front runners for the title.
