Former pro-wrestling superstar Hulk Hogan, who was removed from the WWE after a tape of him spouting racial slurs surfaced, has said that he is not a racist.

The 62-year-old, former WWE Champion asked people to forgive him when he recently appeared on a morning news show "Good Morning America".
"I'm not a racist, I never should have said what I said; it was wrong, I'm embarrassed by it." Hogan said.
The wrestling legend also added that he grew up in an environment where the N-word was used casually.
Hogan clarified that the tape of him using racial slurs about his daughter's boyfriend occurred during a rough patch.
"I was at the lowest point of my life to the point where I wanted to kill myself."
"Oh, my gosh. Please forgive me. Please forgive me. I think if you look at the whole picture of who Hulk Hogan is, you can see over all the years that there's not a racist bone in my body," he added.
