Richa bags fourth gold

Richa Mishra bagged her fourth gold medal while Saurabh Sangvekar of Karnataka and Maharashtra’s Virdhawal Khade set national marks on day three of the 66th Enerzal Senior National Aquatic Championships in Pune on Wednesday.

Richa Mishra bagged her fourth gold medal while Saurabh Sangvekar of Karnataka and Maharashtra’s Virdhawal Khade set national marks on day three of the 66th Enerzal Senior National Aquatic Championships here on Wednesday.

Richa clinched the women’s 400m freestyle title in 4 minutes, 29.17 seconds to retain the crown.
In the men’s section, Khade and Sangvekar set national marks in the 100m butterfly and 400m freestyle events, respectively, on their way to gold.

IPL-style badminton
Srinagar: The Badminton Association of India is all set to announce an IPL-style league in which national and international players will participate. A formal announcement will be made in the last week of October. The league, named
Indian Badminton League, is slated to be held in February and will be a franchise-based team event.
