India's Saina Nehwal cruised into the quarter-finals of the World Badminton Championships, defeating Russia's Ella Diehl in the third round of the women's singles event in Paris on Thursday.
The second seeded Indian made light work of 13th seed Diehl 21-14 21-18 to sail into the last-eight stage in just 40 minutes.

Saina will next take on the winner of the match between sixth seed Chinese Shixian Wang and 11th seed Jie Yao of the Netherlands.
