Silvit Tongper, a SAI player who had gone for coaching to English premiership club Arsenal, returned on August 3 with sore throat and high fever and subsequently tested positive for H1N1.

The director of health services, KH Lakiang, said Tongper had stayed in the SAI hostel for a few days and more than hundred people attended his felicitation programme.

"The 80 boarders at the hostel have been asked not to leave the complex. Tamiflu capsules have been distributed as a precautionary measure," Lakiang said. "No other sportsperson has shown symptoms of swine flu," he added.
