Congress has asked its leaders in Jharkhand to air their grievances within the party just days after a section of them demanded change in the PCC setup.
"Congress is India's largest political movement. Total democracy and transparency in such a large political movement occasionaly involves disagreement. There are sufficient intra-party fora to air and discuss such disagreements.
"But this occasional and temporary difference of opinion should not be magnified into anything else," AICC spokesman Abhishek Manu Singhvi told newsmen yesterday in reply to questions on infighting in the PCC.
On August 31 Congress leader and Chairman of State Minority Commission Gulfam Mujibi had openly demanded a change in the PCC setup which was strongly protested by CLP leader Manoj Yadav.
Singhvi said Jharkhand was high in the list of the Congress, which would fight the assembly polls as a 'powerful, united fighting machine' and win the majority.
