Scientists will try to find an answer to arsenic contamination in groundwater of Bihar.
Two German researchers, Mario Herman and Stesan Smidt of the University of Applied Sciences, Karlsruhe, will reach Patna on April 7 to carry out field trials of the latest arsenic removal techniques.

The German researchers, working in collaboration with local researchers, will try membrane technology developed by a German scientist Prof. Jan Hoinkis.
The area for the trials is around Maner and Danapur, nearly 30 km northwest of Patna.
