Bihar Additional Director General of Police, state crime records bureau, Sunit Kumar has been selected for President's police medal for distinguished service.
Six others police officials in Bihar has been selected for police medal for gallantary while 12 others were selected for police medals for meritorious service, state police headquarter said on Sunday.
Those selected for police medals for gallantary are deputy superintendents of police Shashi Bhushan Sharma and Rajendra Singh, inspector Ajay Kumar Singh, sub-inspector Sanjay Kumar, havildar Ram Badar and constable Md Ghulam Mustafa.
SP vigilance Sudhir Kumar, BMP Commandant S P Choudhury, deputy superintendent of police BMP A K Sinha, sub-divisional police officer A K Jha, sub-inspector Naushad Alam were among 12 police officials, who were selected for police medals for meritorious service, the sources said.
