PHOTOS: Liverpool lights up for the River of Light festival

Every year Liverpool is lit up with lights and fireworks, and this year the River of Light festival is returning to the city in England. Along with lights, fireworks also light up the sky for the festival which lasts 9 days and is set to commence in November 2019. This year's nine-day festival is bigger than it has been in the past and will begin from Friday 1 November to Saturday 9 November. For the festival, Liverpool's waterfront has been transformed with light, colour and sound, and ten commissions from artists and organisations from across Europe have been installed for visitors to bask in.
