What do you see when you look out the window?

”Everywhere I stay, I see them pigeons perched outside the window. I used to be scared of them, their popping red eyes, their gurgling at all hours, the smell they leave behind. But, now, I feel they are protectors, watch-birds; dearest nature looking out for me, wherever I am.” — Mumbai (Photo: Adwaita Das)

Looking out, a blossoming tree, a fading sun and some dry leaves beautifully juxtapose into the history this window has been through. Numerable debates, procrastinations and some indoor shoots have made this window thick with coats of paint, and made it well-seasoned. - Pune (Photo: Kumar Avyaya) expand-iconView Photos in a new improved layout

”No, it’s not an European city. It’s Mumbai. This is the best feeling I have experienced. The view from right outside my window, as I sip some coffee and watch the purple ombré sky turn black. It’s bliss.” — Mumbai (Photo: Dipika Champeri) expand-iconView Photos in a new improved layout

”When I looked at the window I couldn’t think or say anything; only the action of capturing the view crossed my mind. I think I knew that this one was for keeps. So, when I scroll through my gallery, and see this image, I will instantly imagine the metamorphosis of sand into concrete.” — Mumbai (Photo: Dipika Champeri) expand-iconView Photos in a new improved layout

They say the view outside your window, is the window of your mind. When I implement it, I encouraged my mind to focus on the abundance, serenity, prosperity and beauty. And the universe blessed me with the most spectacular window view I have ever witnessed. - Sikkim (Photo: Nitya Kumar) expand-iconView Photos in a new improved layout

Sometimes when I look at windows, they remind me of all the people I have met in my life. Some were difficult to fling open, their souls locked up behind. Some easily let you see the inside of themselves, but turned out to be barren. Some you would almost mistake for mirrors, letting you reflect on your own selves. And some were so broken and yet so beautiful they seemed a work of art. - West Bengal (Photo: Piyush Sawant) expand-iconView Photos in a new improved layout
