In 2019, actor Arbaaz Khan shared posters of his 1997 unreleased film Jeetenge Hum on Instagram; Arshad Warsi featured alongside Arbaaz in the film. Arshad was seen flaunting the 90s long hair trend and holding a gun in one of the pictures.

Going by the pictures, it appeared Arshad played a jovial character in the unreleased film, while Arbaaz played an angry young man. Arbaaz wrote in his Instagram post in 2019, "Stills from an unreleased 1997 film Jeetenge Hum I did with Arshad Warsi."

Arshad Warsi and Arbaaz Khan wielded guns in another poster from the unreleased film. It was the Munna Bhai films that marked a turning point in Arshad's career. His portrayal of Circuit in the comedy film Munna Bhai MBBS (2003), and its sequel Lage Raho Munna Bhai (2006), won him awards and praise.
