Photos: India at 1.53 million Covid cases, recoveries at 64.5%

India’s tally of coronavirus cases went past 1.53 million on July 29 after 48,513 fresh cases were reported between July 28 and July 29 morning. However, health ministry’s data shows that India’s recovery rate has seen a sharp increase from around 53% in mid-June to more than 64.50% till July 29. With 35,286 patients discharged between July 28 and July 29 morning, India’s total Covid-19 recoveries stands at 988,029.
