The four-day-long festival of Chhath Puja commenced today, November 8 and will conclude on November 12. This festival is dedicated to the Sun God and is mainly celebrated by the people from Bihar, Jharkhand and bordering areas in Uttar Pradesh.
During the festival, devotees take a dip in rivers, ponds, and other water bodies and seek blessings from the Sun God. Here's how devotees celebrated the first day of the festival which is known as Nahai Khai or Naha Khay.(HT File Photo)
