Sonali Bendre shared a heartfelt post on Instagram on the occasion of Karva Chauth. She shared a photo of herself in an orange and pink salwar suit and captioned her post, "I have always believed that traditions are what you make of them... to me they are a bridge between the past, present and future. I respect where they came from but never hesitated to give it my own meaning. Karwa Chauth is one such festival… to me, it has always been a celebration of family and friends that are family." She also went on to mention in her post that she gets pampered by her husband on this day.(Instagram/@iamsonalibendre)

Esha Deol shared a long Instagram post with a photo of just the reflection of her festival-ready face on a mirror and captioned it, "Karwa chauth has a lot more to it than the vermillion on your head or the fast or the tradition; For me, it is the love, the feeling, the spirit of sacrifice and selflessness that I celebrate and cherish. It makes me bask in the feeling of being loved by someone and having someone special in my life to share that love. Although I do follow the ritual of 'fasting' and feasting later on, I believe fast or no fast, it is all about the 'saath' and the celebration of this 'saath' that matters the most. What is it for you?."(Instagram/@imeshadeol)

Raveena Tandon shared an Instagram story where she can be seen wearing a bright red sharara set and holding a puja thali and a Chalni. She wrote, "To the fact that this day is dedicated to prayers for my family, my fast is not for my god who I have faith in , but is unseen. My fast is for the health and prosperity of my family and loved ones, who laugh, live, enjoy and my each moment with everyday. Happy Karwa Chauth Ladies! God bless you and your family."(Instagram/@officialraveenatandon)
