At this point of time, when people are taking care of their health at the utmost, it becomes very necessary that our pets are equally fit and healthy. People are slowly moving out of homes again and it becomes important to keep our pets trained to stay unattended. It is a good practice to keep our pets trained as this not only helps in providing them a self-sufficient better lifestyle but also reduces the considerable watch-time by pet owners on them. (Bethany Ferr)

1. Sleeping habits and relax time - For any living being, there has to be a set resting time/sleeping habit. Pets are usually active throughout the day which leads to exhaustion. If pets are continuously exhausted with no sleeping habits, this will eventually affect their growth. (Photo by BRUNO EMMANUELLE on Unsplash)

2. Healthy eating habits - Pets, if unmonitored, have a tendency to eat whatever they see in front of them. This can be detrimental to their health and may lead to unnecessary diseases. It is important for pet owners to train their pets and aware their pets on proper pet food, with a proper diet chart. Right from infant, pets should be trained on healthy eating habits. Pets should not be given human foods and they should only be offered pet foods prescribed by the vet. (Pixabay)

3. Training for socialising - In many cases few pets are not comfortable meeting or welcoming other pets or people. They either show violent behaviour or isolate themselves to new situations. Our pets should be trained to adapt to new situations, however this should be a slow process where the pets get enough time to make themselves comfortable. (Helena Lopes)
