Polycystic ovary syndrome, also known as PCOS, is a condition where the ovaries produce an abnormal amount pf Androgen, leading to cyst formation in the ovaries. Menstrual irregularity, acne, obesity and mood swings are some of the common symptoms of PCOS. Thyroid issues such as Hyperthyroidism and Hypothyroidism are also common in women with PCOS.
