Rachin Ravindra and Kane Williamson scored centuries as New Zealand beat South Africa by 50 runs in the semi-final of the 2025 Champions Trophy and booked a date with India in the final to be played in Dubai on Sunday. The margin of defeat could've been something close to 150 had it not been for David Miller's stunning assault at the end where he smashed 48 runs in the last three overs and finished unbeaten on 100 off 67 balls. New Zealand captain Mitchell Santner won the toss and chose to bat first in Lahore. South Africa took an early wicket and managed to keep the scoring rate in check initially. However, New Zealand weren't looking too bogged down thanks to the way Ravindra and Williamson were rotating strike.(AP)

Ravindra managed to maintain a strike rate either close to or above 100 throughout his innings and South Africa started looking bereft of ideas in the middle overs. He eventually scored his century and fell on 108 off just 101 balls. It was Ravindra's fifth ODI century, all of which have come in ICC events. The partnership between him and Williamson ended on 164 off 154 balls. (AP)

Kane Williamson also picked up pace quite incredibly, eventually scoring his century in just 91 balls when Ravindra had got there in 93. The New Zealand great fell on 102 off 94 balls. (AP)
