Rachin Ravindra and Kane Williamson scored centuries as New Zealand beat South Africa by 50 runs in the semi-final of the 2025 Champions Trophy and booked a date with India in the final to be played in Dubai on Sunday. The margin of defeat could've been something close to 150 had it not been for David Miller's stunning assault at the end where he smashed 48 runs in the last three overs and finished unbeaten on 100 off 67 balls. Both van der Dussen and Bavuma fell after scoring half-centuries and South Africa seemed to have got a good platform for their star-studded middle order to work on. However, New Zealand captain Mitchell Santner broke the back of the chase between the 22nd and 29th overs, dismissing Bavuma for 56 off 71, van der Dussen for 69 off 66 and, most importantly, the dangerous Heinrich Klaasen for just three runs in seven balls.
