Junior champions series tennis: Nanded boy Shirfule bags under-10 title

In the boys under 10 finals, third-seeded Nanded boy Shivtej Shirfule outplayed ninth-seeded Namish Hood of Pune 7-4 to claim the title.

Shivtej Shirfule and Hritika Kaple won titles in the boys and girls under 10 events respectively at the third leg of PMDTA-Icon little junior champions bronze series tennis tournament organised by Pune Metropolitan District Tennis Association (PMDTA) association with KPIT played at the Center of Police Research, Pashan

In the boys under 10 finals, third-seeded Nanded boy Shivtej Shirfule outplayed ninth-seeded Namish Hood of Pune 7-4 to claim the title.

Shivtej trains at Parth Chivte Tennis Academy, Pune under coach Parth Chivte.

In the girls’ section top-seeded Hritika Kaple scored a 7-4 win over Third-seeded Rishita Patil to claim the title in this category.

The winner and runner up got trophy and certificates.
