The Pune-based maharashtra state council of examinations (MSCE) had recently recalled certificates of almost 5,000 candidates of Teacher Eligibility Test (TET), citing technical error. As per MSCE officials, the certificates that had been printed by a private agency, had few printing errors, making them invalid.

Sukhdev Dere, MSCE commissioner, however, informed that the new certificates have arrived and have been sent to the respective education officers of the different districts across the state and the candidates can collect it from there.

“We had to recall those certificates because of the printing errors in them. The issue was actually with the optional subjects of Paper 11, which included science, maths and social sciences. These were either misprinted or not mentioned in the earlier certificates and so we ordered the private printing agency to make the reprints as soon as possible, at their own expense,” said Dere.
