Satara Lok Sabha member and direct descendant of Chhatrapati Shivajji, Udayanraje Bhosale is likely to be arrested in an extortion case. Kolhapur DYSP Vishvas Nangre Patil said, “All are equal before the law and he can be arrested at any moment.”

NCP Lok Sabha member has been denied anticipatory bail by a Satara court two months back. Udayanraje had approached Bombay High Court but, his appeal against lower courts order was rejected. Nine people have already been arrested in the case. Nangre Patil, who was in Satara on Wednesday, told media persons that investigation officer has been given full freedom in the case and action would be taken within framework of the law.
