Pune college lecturer held for demanding sexual favours from student

According to the police, the accused used to call the student say that they will go to a lodge if she wanted to pass the exams.

The Haveli police have arrested a junior college lecturer for demanding sexual favours from a student in lieu of passing her in the exam. The lecturer, identified as Sandeep Kamble, works in Shiv Chhatrapati arts and commerce college junior college in Wadgaon in Pune district.

According to the police, the accused used to call the student and say that in order to pass the exams, she will have to go to a lodge with him.The girl narrated her ordeal to her parents, after which they approached Shiva Pasalkar of the parents’ organisation, who lodged an FIR against the suspect. He was arrested following the registration of the complaint.
