10 year jail for 25-yr-old in sodomy case

Patiala court of additional sessions judge (ASJ) has sent a 25-year-old man accused in a sodomy case to jail for 10 years on Thursday. The convict has been identified as Prashant Jha.

ASJ Anshul Berry pronounced the punishment and also slapped fine of Rs 10,000 against the accused.

The case against the accused was registered on May 24, under Section 377 of the IPC and Section 4 of the Protection of Children from Sexual Abuse Act, at Samana village for sodomising two brothers.
