The victim is a Class-11 student in a private school here. The incident took place on Wednesday when she was returning from her relative’s house on a scooter. The accused, who used to harass her over phone and pressure her to be friend with him, had interrupted her way.

Mother of the victim alleged that the boy had asked her daughter to sit on his bike and, when she resisted, the accused assaulted her in the middle of the road and tore off her clothes. Her mother said that had injuries on her arms and her clothes were torn when she reached home. After reaching home, she narrated the whole incident.

The mother said that her daughter had told her about the boy’s activities. “That the boy used to harass my daughter was in my notice, but I never thought that a school boy can go to this extent”, said the victim’s mother. She said that when her son came to know about the incident, he filed a complaint with the police.

The victim has been under mental trauma after the incident as she has not ventured out after the incident. Mother said that her daughter refused to go to the school as she was afraid of the boy and she is not able to sleep properly as well.
