A two-year--old girl was killed and around 30 persons injured when a multi-utility vehicle rammed a tempo near Pandori village in Tanda on Thursday. The deceased was identified as Supreet Kaur of Misherpur village in Gurdaspur.

The tempo was carrying devotees to Anandpur Sahib. The injured were first rushed to Tanda civil hospital but later shifted to Hoshiarpur.
A motorcycle also collided with the two vehicles involved in the collision, injuring two more persons.
Tanda police registered a case against the MUV driver on the statement of the victim's grandfather Sarabjit Singh.
