3 die of swine flu, another 3 test positive
Swine flu claimed three more lives on Wednesday evening and Thursday. With this, the death toll has touched 10 in Ludhiana hospitals, which include two deaths from Ludhiana, two from Kapurthala, three from Jalandhar and one each from Moga, Barnala and Pathankot districts.

A 35-year-old man from Sujanpur, Pathankot died on Wednesday night of the disease. He was diagnosed positive on the same day and was admitted in Christian Medical College and Hospital (CMCH).
A 37-year-old woman from Jalandhar also died on Wednesday night. She was admitted to Dayanand Medical College and Hospital on Febraury 22.
After a long baatle, a 42-year-old woman from Jawwadi, Ludhiana died on Thursday. She was admitted in CMCH on February 5.
Three other patients also tested positive for the disease on Thursday which include a 55-year-old woman from Khanna, a 60-year-old woman from New Kundan Puri Ludhiana and a 47-year-old man from Garshanker, Hoshiarpur.
A 49-year-old man was referred from Bathinda, and has now been admitted to Fortis Hospital for treatment.
A total of 40 patients have so far tested positive for swine flu in Ludhiana hospitals, including the referred patient from Bathinda.
