40-year-old man mowed to death in Kullu

A 40-year-old man was crushed to death by a truck at Patlikuhal chowk, 20 kms from here, on Friday. The victim, identified as Bir Chand, is a resident of Khadi Haar village in Kullu tehsil. The police have arrested the driver, Khub Ram, a resident of Bari Padhar village, and impounded the truck.

The body has been has been brought to Manali for postmortem and a case has bee registered under section 304-A (rash and negligent act resulting in death) of IPC.
