5,077 more voters in Nakodar constiuency

New voters in Nakodar constituency have increased by 5,077, said Nakodar sub-divisional magistrate (SDM) HS Dhaliwal here on Sunday. Now, there are 1.81-lakh voters in Nakodar constituency. Of them, 93,438 are men and 87,937 are women.

The SDM said the voters increased because of a special campaign launched for enlisting new voters. He added that in Shahkot assembly constituency, there were 1.66-lakh voters, with 5,177 of them being registered recently.
