5 more dengue cases confirmed in city

Nearly five new cases of dengue were reported from the city here on Friday. Patients from various areas, including Civil Lines, Noorwala Road, Ram Nagar, Vivek Nagar and Tharike, are undergoing treatment at Dayanand Medical College and Hospital (DMCH) here.

Of total 168 cases diagnosed at city hospitals this year, 124 patients are from Ludhiana, while others belong to different districts of the state.
