“The way our rejected leaders are being received in the AAP, the party is turning out to be a junkyard for the Congress deadwood,” the PPCC president said in a statement issued here.

He pointed out that leaders such as Aman Arora, Sukhpal Singh Khaira and CD Kambhoj had successively been defeated in the elections and had lost all hope of being able to contest while remaining in the Congress.

Referring to Arora, the PCC president said his family members had been allotted ticket six times continuously since 1992, but they lost four times in a row.

Maintaining that it was the worst betrayal with the Congress, he said, all four members of Arora’s family, including his father Bhagwan Dass Arora, his mother Parmeshwari Arora, his sister Sonia, had been given numerous chances by the party.
